This is a jello dessert my Mom made as a staple at every Thanksgiving when I was growing up and still to this day. On her recipe she states emphatically
“A WORD OF CAUTION:
Don’t let Dave take the first serving ‘cause no-one else will get any!!”

Ingredients
- 1 Can Mandarin Oranges drained
- 1 Can Crushed Pineapple with the juice
- 1 C Sour Cream
- 1 C Boiling water
- 1 Package Orange Jello
- 1/3 C Sugar

Instructions
- Boil the water then add the jello and sugar. Stir until dissolved
- Cool this slightly then stir in the Sour Cream. Mix until dissolved
- Add the Mandarine Oranges and Crushed Pineapple. Stir well then pour into a bowl. Place the bowl in the fridge until set
