Italian Sausage Mozzarella Sauce with Pasta
This was another quick recipe to use up some pantry items

Ingredients
- 1 lb Hot Italian Sausage
- 1 Onion finely diced
- 4 Garlic Cloves minced
- 1 24 oz Marinara Sauce
- 16 oz Fresh Mozzarella cut into bite-size cubes
- 3 Tb Fresh Parsley chopped
- 8 leaves Fresh Basil chopped

Instructions
- Crumble the Hot Italian Sausage and brown it in a skillet over Medium-High heat. Once cooked move the Sausage to a holding plate
- Add the Onion and Garlic to the skillet. Cook in the oil from the Sausage until the Onion is golden brown
- Lower the heat to Medium and stir in the Marinara Sauce.
- Return the Sausage to the skillet and stir well to combine.
- Stir in the Parsley and allow to simmer for 10 minutes. Add some of the water from your cooking Pasta if the sauce is too thick
- Add the cubed Mozzarella and stir into the Sauce and allow the cheese to begin to melt
- Serve the sauce over the Pasta of your choice and garnish with the Basil

Dave, I just made this. It was good and quick. I think you want to put the basil in the sauce, and use the parsley for the garnish. Jeff
