Buttermilk Pancakes and Buttermilk Syrup

Ingredients
Pancakes
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 2 C Flour sifted
- 2 Tb Sugar
- 2 Eggs whisked
- 2 C Buttermilk
- 2 Tb Butter unsalted, melted
Syrup
- 3/4 C Buttermilk
- 1 C Sugar
- 1/2 C Butter unsalted
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions
Pancakes
- Whisk together Salt, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Flour and Sugar. When finished make a well in the middle
- Whisk Together Eggs and Buttermilk. Drizzle in the melted butter while you whisk
- Pour the wet ingredients into the well. Stir to combine. Note that the more you stir the less fluffy they will be
Syrup
- Combine the Butter, Sugar and Buttermilk in the pan. Bring to a boil for 1 minute then remove from the heat
- Whisk in the Baking Soda and Vanilla
